Permabond® C Surface Activator is used in conjunction with Permabond cyanoacrylate adhesives to promote a faster cure and to extend their gap-filling capabilities. It also enables fillets of cured adhesive to be formed if required and can be used to reduce the effects of blooming, which can affect decorative surfaces. Use of CSA also facilitates the bonding of porous surfaces. Permabond CSA can be supplied either as an aerosol spray, for ease of application, or as a bulk liquid for use in high volume applications.
How to Use The Permabond CSA Activator
1) Surfaces should be clean, dry and grease-free prior to primer application
2) Permabond CSA should be applied either by wiping (using a clean cloth or brush), spraying or dipping one component
3) Allow CSA to fully evaporate before bonding to make sure there isn’t any solvent entrapment in the joint
4) Permabond cyanoacrylate adhesive is then applied to the untreated surface; the two parts should be quickly mated
5) Do not put the adhesive on the treated surface as the adhesive could cure before the parts can be properly mated. Only if the gap is extremely large (>0.5mm) activator may be applied to both surfaces
6) For maximum bond strength, allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours at 23°C.
* Permabond CSA is formulated to minimise attack and maximise performance on certain plastics. However, it is recommended that the product is tested for compatibility prior to use in production
** For post-applying (e.g. for curing excess adhesive fillets or for wire tacking): Lightly spray or drip activator onto uncured adhesive (do not react large quantities)

Local delivery is available in the BB5, BB9, BB10, BB11 & BB12 postcodes for free for order above £35.
We use a variety of carriers depending on the size of the order, these include DX, APC & Royal Mail and sometimes a personal delivery service for local orders.

For the Scottish Highlands & Islands, the delivery charge is £18.75.
For Northern Ireland, Isle of Man & Jersey, our delivery charge is £18.75.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
“Change of mind” includes purchases you have made in error (accidentally ordered the wrong size or colour), items that don’t fit the way that you would like or unwanted gifts.
We will accept a change of mind return provided it meets the following guidelines:
Return within 14 days
Return with proof of purchase
Item must be unworn, unwashed, unused with all original tags/labels attached
Item is not listed as an excluded item as outlined below
Please note that we are unable to accept returns for certain personal protection products such as face masks, gloves and sanitiser amongst others unless there is a product fault. Thank you for your understanding.

Faulty Product Returns
If something is faulty, incorrectly described or different from the sample shown we will provide an exchange or refund provided the item is returned within a reasonable time with proof of purchase.
Exchanges
Exchanges for the same item in a different size will not incur any additional charges (delivery maybe charged at a subsidised rate). If the new item is a different product (including a different colour) and there is a price difference you may need to pay the difference or receive a partial refund.
Refunds
If you request a refund, the purchase price (excluding delivery charges for online orders) will be refunded to you using the original payment method.
In the event of goods arriving with production or manufacturing errors, we reserve the right to correct these prior to offering a refund, at our sole discretion.
