This information may include your name, address, telephone number and email address, together with some other information about your personal interests or lifestyle.

1.2 Information is also collected when you complete and submit on-line forms (for example, "contact us" forms) and whenever you email us your details.

1.3 We will not collect sensitive personal information about you without your explicit consent.

1.4 We use "cookies" to collect additional information about your visit(s) to the Website.

2.1 A cookie is a text file that a website transfers to your computer's hard disk so that the website can remember who you are. Cookies only record those areas of a website that have been visited by your computer and for how long.

2.2 This Website uses the following two types of cookies:

2.2.1 Session Cookies - these are temporary cookies which remain on your computer until you leave the Website and allow you to carry information across pages of the Website without having to re-enter information; and

2.2.2 Persistent Cookies - these remain on your computer after you leave the Website.

2.3 You have the ability to accept or decline cookies by modifying the settings in your browser. If you would like to do this, please see the help menu of your browser. However, you may not be able to use all of the interactive features of our Website if cookies are disabled.

3.1 We use the information collected to provide and personalise our services, both on-line and off-line. This may include dealing with your enquiries, conducting quality assurance and/or training our staff.

3.2 In particular, our Persistent Cookies help us to recognise you when you return to the Website and allow us to tailor content or offers to match your preferred interests or to avoid showing you the same items repeatedly. We may use third parties to assist in this monitoring and analysis.

3.3 Where you have indicated that you wish to receive marketing or promotional material, we may use the information ourselves for marketing and promotional purposes. For example, this may include providing you with promotional offers and/or information about products and services. At the time that we collect your personal information, we will usually provide you with a specific opportunity to indicate whether you want to receive marketing/promotional offers. If, at any time, you would like to opt-out of receiving future marketing and promotional material from us, please let us know by contact hello@protect-uk.co.uk.

3.4 Where dealing with your enquiry may involve passing information to third parties, you will be made aware of this, unless this is already clear from the nature of your enquiry. In certain cases, this may involve transmitting your personal information outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). When we do this, we will ensure that the information is transferred in accordance with this Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to us using your personal information in this way.

3.5 The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the EEA. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, amongst other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storage or processing. We will take steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

4.1 We take appropriate security measures in relation to the sensitivity of the information which we hold on you. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Service; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

4.2 We will not hold your information on our systems for any longer than is necessary for us to meet the purpose of holding that information.

4.3 Where you have made us aware that the information that we hold about you is inaccurate or not up to date, we will update that information.

4.4 You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you, upon payment of a fee. Please address any requests to Protect-UK at the contact address set out below.

4.5 If you have any questions about privacy, please send an e-mail to hello@protect-uk.co.uk.
